Come out for the 30a 10K Charity Run
On Thanksgiving day here on 30A, more than 1,500 running enthusiasts will ‘lace em up” and participate in this super fun 10-K race that will benefit 3 important local charities. This event will also require the help of up to 200 volunteers and the sponsorship of close to 50 local businesses all combined to make this second annual event a success. There will also be a 1 mile “fun run for charity” race in Rosemary Beach. The main event will begin at Barrett Square in Rosemary Beach on Thanksgiving morning at 7:30 AM. All of those who are interested in participating should plan on being at Barrett Square no later than 6:30 AM to allow for parking and registration; this includes the children wishing to run in the “fun run”. Expect the east end of Highway 30A to be closed for a few hours that morning while the race takes place. There will be aid stations set up along the route and an awards ceremony following the conclusion of the race.
