Real Estate Sales Along Scenic Hwy 30a continue to climb and inventories continue to decrease. We were at a 32 month inventory supply along Scenic 30a in January of 2011 and we are currently at a 12.5 month supply .We are slowly seeing the market trend upward and once again becoming a sellers market. All of this combines to indicate that demand for property along 30A remains strong and nothing drives the market like demand. I have been very fortunate here on the beach throughout the market recession of the past 5 years to maintain a high level of sales. I look forward to the coming year as interest rates are expected to remain at record low’s.

Not only is the inventory of homes for sale decreasing, the average days on market is lowering as well. The average is down 11% nationally. September 2011 housing data shows that homes were listed on average 107 days and this September it is down to 95 days.
The inventory of homes for sale continue to remain low and nationally has dropped 18% September 2012 vs September 2011.
Low mortgage rates and affordable housing is creating in increase in home buying demand and is pushing homebuyers’ purchasing power higher. This is also creating a rise in asking prices which is up 0.8% compared to 2011 according to Realtor.com.

Noche de Los Muertos October 27th 2012
If you don’t have your costume ready yet then you better get started.. The Noche de Los Muertos party at Alys Beach has become the largest costume parties and one of the hottest tickets on 30A. This is an Adult Only ” Night of the Dead ” evening filled with outrageous costumes, great libations and great music (DJ G-Funk).
This year there will be a $1,000 prize for the best costume so Get to Work on that costume. You can purchase tickets in advance online for $45 or at the door for $55. The party will be held at Alys’ famous Caliza Pool and Restaurant. Bars will be accepting cash or credit and Costumes are Mandatory..
A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Children’s Volunteer Network.
