There is a nice crowd here along Scenic Hwy 30a this weekend for Thanksgiving so let’s talk about what’s going on. Tomorrow all the communities begin the Christmas Holiday celebrations. The 30a parade, carrying Santa, kicks off the Holiday Season starting at 4:00 in Seagrove Beach and heading West to Seaside. Once Santa’s horse drawn carriage arrives, the amphitheater comes to life with festivities, music and the official lighting of the Seaside Christmas tree. It is know as ” Turn on the Town”. Watercolor kicks the Holidays off with their 6th annual Winter Market in town center. There is food and drink, small booths for shopping, horse drawn buggy rides, lighting of the Christmas tree and a visit from Santa. Rosemary Beach kicks off its season with the Holiday Market starting at 9 am Saturday morning with vendors selling jewelry, art, gifts and much more.
